This one day workshop is designed for residency program directors, new and experienced, and other GME professionals who wish to gain a better understanding of all facets of graduate medical education including key elements of the ACGME accreditation process, GME program management, and oversight of resident performance. The agenda includes a series of brief lectures followed by participant engagement and discussion and will be delivered by local GME experts including Program Directors, DIOs and GME Administrators with extensive experience in GME management. Participants will leave the session with an increased awareness of their responsibilities and a plethora of resources and references to facilitate better program management and successful accreditation outcomes.
